Your training plan:
Bachelor in Corporate Health Management and Well-Being

Informed by a good understanding of current trends and debates in the fields of psychology, health and wellbeing promotion, as well as innovations in information technologies. You will learn how to design health prevention and rehabilitation interventions and how to build sustainable educational approaches.

You will develop solid theoretical knowledge about the particularities and challenges of the healthcare market, and how to meet its demands. You will also learn how to reflect critically on the effects of new technologies on social processes and will be able to discuss their responsible and democratic use in corporate contexts.

Course of study

1st year

During your first year, you will gain foundational trans-disciplinary knowledge essential to build your professional profile as a health management specialist. You will begin right away with courses in psychology, business administration, nutrition, health management and law. At the end of the first year, you will be able to demonstrate awareness of human and organizational behaviour, while building essential management skills, in the context of health and well-being promotion.

2nd year

During your second year, you will dive deeper into the specifics of the health management field, by studying specialization courses, such as, health economics; occupational health and safety; clinical psychology in work-life and even, how to effectively communicate health psychology concepts to larger audiences. Furthermore, through courses such as business ethics and sustainability, you will gain an understanding of economic trends and the dilemmas faced when conflicting goals arise in corporate contexts. Through the course “Digital Leadership and Collaboration”, you will also get the hang of current trends in the context of digital environments. At the end of your second year, you will get the opportunity to observe and apply your newly acquired knowledge during an internship at one of our partner companies in Luxembourg. This hands-on experience, without a doubt, will allow you to further build your professional profile in the field of corporate health management.

3rd year

On the 3rd year, you will continue to further develop your managerial skills and health promotion competencies while taking classes and carrying out your second internship during semester 5. It will allow you to put into direct practice the knowledge acquired in class. Both, a professor from LUNEX and your internship mentor will support you in making the best of your professional practice experiences. At the end of your third year, the course professional development and effective practice will allow you to reflect on your professional profile and next career steps. To conclude, you will be guided and supported in the writing of your bachelor thesis in the topic of your interest.

More about the Application Day

You have the opportunity to participate in the Pre-Bachelor Foundation Programme and improve your English if your language skills do not meet the entrance requirements for study at Bachelor level.

We will inform you in the course of the application process which supporting documents have to be provided and when. In principle, we need the following documents for your application:

  • Copy of your personal ID
  • Copy of the highest educational and/or vocational qualification
  • Language certificate (if applicable)

Depending on the degree programme (Bachelor/Master) and your country of origin (EU/non-EU), further documents may be required. More details will be provided to you in good time.

To secure a study place, we recommend that you send us your documents as soon as possible – but at the latest two weeks before the start of your studies. If you are an applicant from outside the EU, you should note that the application process for a visa can take four to 60 days. Please make sure you give yourself plenty of time.
