Student testimonial – Kim comes back from a placement in Australia

Kim comes from Luxembourg and studies Sport and Exercise Science at LUNEX. She comes back from a placement in Australia.

« My name is Kim, I am 24 years and I am in my fourth semester studying Sports and Exercise Science here at LUNEX. This programme provides us with the opportunity to do an internship abroad and I chose to do mine in Sydney!

Going to Australia has always been a dream of mine and I feel very grateful to have been able to do this through Lunex and with guidance from my professors. I was an intern with the West Tigers which is a rugby club based in Sydney. During my time, I mostly shadowed the other athletic and perfomance coaches through the different teams within the club. Coming from a football background myself and having done a football internship last year, being exposed to a whole different sport has been really insightful and has helped me learn a lot.

Outside of my internship, the highlight of my trip was definitely just living in Sydney. Experiencing life there; exploring new spots, meeting new friends, drinking amazing coffee. Words won’t do it justice, just look at the pictures! I can’t recommend this experience enough. »
