Advancing Health and Science in Rwanda: A Collaborative Effort
A delegation from LUNEX University and Cognos International recently met with Dr. med. Sabin Nsanzimana, Rwanda’s Minister of Health. They discussed plans at the Ministry of Health to boost education in health and science with the aim to help Rwandans gain the skills needed for healthcare and scientific work. We hope these efforts will help Rwandan students and professionals learn and apply knowledge in health and science.
The team also joined the opening of BioNTech SE’s vaccine production site in Kigali. This is a significant step for Africa, in which LUNEX University and Cognos International have been part of it for two years. BioNTech SE’s investment in a vaccines production site in Rwanda not only addresses the pressing need for vaccine manufacturing on the continent but also contributes to enhancing the local healthcare infrastructure. The collaboration between the delegation and BioNTech SE reflects a shared vision of leveraging scientific advancements to improve public health outcomes.
By actively engaging in initiatives that bridge the gap in healthcare and scientific capabilities, LUNEX University and Cognos International aim to create lasting impacts that extend beyond borders.
