EXALT project prototypes introduced to the public
Every year, around 33% of the elderly are injured in a fall. Through its research project EXALT, LUNEX addresses the issue by creating exergames in collaboration with the students of the Lyçée des Arts et Métiers.
Earlier this year, LUNEX University invited Senior citizens in Luxembourg, students in programming and gaming design from Lyçée des Arts et Métiers (LAM-BTS) and LUNEX physiotherapy students to start the EXALT project together and develop easy-tu-use fall prevention exergames for seniors. Since that first event, the co-creation process continued and 8 prototypes of those exergames have been created by the participants.
Tuesday 17th January, we invited senior citizens and the general public to test these different prototypes created through this project! We also had the pleasure to receive the visit of health professionals and the minister of research Claude Meisch.
