Testimonial – Anne at the London South Bank University

Anne studies in our Master in Sport and Exercise Science and did her internship in London at LSBU. Read her testimonial:

„Hi, I’m Anne, and I am a Sport and Exercise Scientist. Thanks to the Erasmus+ program, I had the opportunity to complete my internship and gather data for my Master’s dissertation (walking biomechanics in VR) in London at the Biomechanics Department of the London South Bank University. During my four-month stay, I not only gained valuable insights into Biomechanics but also formed lifelong friendships.

During my internship at London South Bank University, I conducted motion analysis, learned how to use ultrasonography, and independently performed dynamometry.

Additionally, I assisted Professor Dr. Kiros Karamanidis with teaching and supported Bachelor students in their research projects, mainly in gait analysis, fall prevention, and strength assessments using the isokinetic device.

In my free time, I explored London and its surroundings, immersing myself in its rich cultural diversity.

I am profoundly grateful for this experience and would definitely recommend the Erasmus+ program for its exceptional learning and personal growth opportunities.“
