Sport Management students goes on 2-day field trip to Germany
1st year Sport Management students had a fun time discovering sports facilities on their way to Cologne.
The first day was spent at the motorsports complex Nürburging on the way to Cologne, where they got a backstage tour through their museum, various VIP areas and pit lane. They got the opportunity to meet the Social Media Manager and got introduced to the media communication and digitalisation strategy at the Ring. They later went to Bayer Leverkusen for a stadium tour and short lectures about the Bundesliga club.
The next day, they visited the FC Köln and received lectures from the Senior Manager Sales, the FC marketing agency and the media director of the club. They finished then trip with a little trial golf course!
The objective of this experience is to give our students insights into working life at different sports organisations.
