Sport and Exercise Science: new partnership with ATC Sports
Our professional network is growing! Last week, ATC Sports owner Mark Notschaele and our Sport and Exercise Science Programme Leaders signed a cooperation agreement.
LUNEX and ATC Sports will work together and provide internship places at the ATC gym and develop professional student education linking theory and practice. With over 40 years of experience, Mark and his team at ATC Sports are well known for high-level strength and conditioning training and work together athletes and sport teams across Luxembourg. “We are proud having ATC Sports as a partner of LUNEX University. With at least three internship places per year, our students will have the option to get valuable insights into various aspects of training and coaching in strength and conditioning.” (Thorben Hülsdünker, Programme Leader of the SES Master)
This cooperation agreement is formalizing a partnership that started in 2020 when a Student of the Sport and Exercise Master programme completed an internship at ATC Sports in Koerich. “I saw during these first internships that LUNEX students bring a lot of new knowledge on anticipation and on the mental aspect. That is something that is very interesting for us to bring to the sport teams. I am learning just as much as the students are learning from the experience.” (Mark Notschaele)
