External Instructor for an introductory course in Law

We offer high-quality and innovative teaching and learning in higher education and research.
To complete our team of experts for the Bachelor Programme in Corporate Health Management and Well-being, we are looking for an external lecturer in the legal area.
Roles and responsibilities
To teach an introductory course in labour and civil law with a focus on health management, carrying out the following actions:
- Establishing key objectives for classes
- Preparing materials, giving lectures and organising activities to deepen understanding of coursework
- Writing, administering and grading the final examination to test students’ knowledge
- Answering students’ questions and providing support during class hours.
Must-have requirements
- The ideal applicant is a lawyer or a Human Resource Professional with experience in the field of labour and civil law with applications in health management.
- Bachelor’s degree in law, business administration or human resources.
- Professional experience and/or knowledge of civil and contract law in the Grand Region
- Competence in teaching civil and contract law in English language
- Availability to teach a part-time or full-time course between May-July 2024
Nice-to-have requirements
- Master’s degree in civil/corporate law or human resources
- Experience in the corporate health and safety sector in the Grand Region
- Knowledge of regulations regarding diversity, equality and inclusion at the corporate level.
- Experience as a university instructor/professor
- Understanding of health and safety regulations in the workplace
