Who should attend

This certification programme is designed for current and future leaders who are seeking to maximize their organisational impact through people. It is designed for individuals seeking to leverage knowledge in business psychology to deliver superior performance and organizational health - from large corporates and established small to medium sized companies to dynamic, emerging, early stage businesses across industries.

Bachelor degree and at least 2 years of relevant work experience. The Bachelor degree may be waived based on relevant years of work experience. Applications will be assessed on a case by case basis.

The certification programme accepts registrations on a rolling basis. The design of the programme allows for starting at any time with one of the modules 1-5. Participants will become part of LUNEX’s central, digital platform CANVAS through which all aspects of the programme will be managed, from course material to additional information such as videos or links to literature

Scholarships of up to 50% of registration fee are available for individual applicants and small companies.

*The award of scholarships will be determined on a case by case basis.

Learning outcomes

Participants will:

  • Learn about the psychological aspects of organisational performance, health & engagement.
  • Gain insights into psychological factors of effective leadership and decision making.
  • Understand how competitive advantage can be created around people
  • Receive an overview over business psychology best practices and how to implement them.
  • Acquire tools and strategies to present strong business cases to executives and Boards, drive executive decision-making and lead change effectively.
  • Further expand their personal and professional network to keep up with latest market developments and trends.

The programme is taught at Chambre de Commerce, 7, rue Alcide de Gasperi, 1615 Luxembourg, which is well connected to free public transport (tram station Coque at 5 minutes walking distance) and provides parking on the visitors area of -1 and -2 of the building. Please note that the last session on 20 May will exceptionally take place at LUNEX, in Differdange.

Flexibility

The programme provides flexibility for participants so that they can combine work life, private life and education. The programme cycle runs twice a year so that participants have an opportunity to attend a module they may have missed in one of the following 2 cycles. Of the 5 programme modules, 4 are half days between 1-5pm plus 1 full day between 9am and 5pm. Personal interaction, sharing and networking represent an integral element of the programme.


Teaching approach

Teaching will be in English, in-person and in a highly interactive way with breakout sessions, group case discussions, role-play, peer exchange, experiential learning interventions and expert guest lectures.

 

Certification Requirements

In order to complete the programme and receive the certificate, participants will need to have attended modules 1-5 within a 2 year period.

Prof. Dr. Marcus B. Müller has a unique combination of expertise in both fields, Business and Psychology. He holds a PhD in social psychology. He is a fulltime professor of management at LUNEX in Differdange and an international scholar at the U.S. Think Tank “Center for Self-determination Theory (CSDT)” in Florida. After almost 20 years in the business world, Marcus moved into the scientific field of human motivation where he has combined leading-edge science—including his own scientific research—with his professional experience as a senior executive. He is the author of several books, an internationally recognized strategic thinker, influential speaker, and management consultant inspiring individuals, organisations and governments on professional as well as personal performance, health, and well-being.

Unterrichtssprache aller Studiengänge an der LUNEX ist Englisch. Sie sollten daher gut Englisch sprechen und verstehen können. Sollten Ihre Sprachkenntnisse für das Studium nicht ausreichend sein, können Sie am Pre-Bachelor Foundation Programme teilnehmen und Ihr Englisch verbessern.
