Student testimonial – Camille is massage therapist on the side of her studies
Camille is in 3rd year of Bachelor in Physiotherapy. While she must get her degree to practice as a physiotherapist, she already acquired good knowledge of anatomy as well as massaging skills at LUNEX. She created her own massaging business at Pain World, Luxembourg’s biggest gym.
“The idea of my business came quite simply: I really liked being at the gym and I thought it would be great to have a massage table there to offer my services to gym goers who would be interested. The gym had a free room, first clients appreciated my work and spread the word. Thanks to word-of-mouth, my business went serious from there.
It’s a flexible job and I am able to adapt my working hours to my classes. For example, I am currently doing my last internship, too far away to come back to Luxembourg every evening, so I just work on Saturdays.
Today I’m really grateful for what I built, it helps with my living expenses and will probably help to pay my student loan. I’m glad of the direction it took and hope to get it even further in the next years. I haven’t decided what I will do when I will get my physiotherapy degree, but for now it gives me a great working experience.”
