Luxembourgish student athletes: get a COSL scholarship and a adapted schedule
Three students obtained a scholarship in the frame of our Dual Career programme for the year 2021-2022!
- Patrizia Van der Weken, 22, will start her 3rd of International Sport Management. She is also a track and field sprinter. She recently just broke the national record on 200m and participated in the finals of the European U23 Championships in Tallinn, Estonia.
- Claire Faber, 23, will start her Master in Sport Management & Digitalisation after completing her Bachelor In International Sport Management. She is a cyclist and part of the Andy Schleck Women’s team.
- Peter Murphy, 21, will start his 3rd year of his Bachelor in Exercise and Sport Science. He is short track skater.
The scholarship includes tuition fees for one year. To apply for a scholarship, you must already be a member of the COSL Elite Squad, Promotion Squad, a national team of Luxembourg (at senior level) or the Centre de Formation.

Additionally, they obtained the student-athlete status. Student-athlete status entitles students to complete degree courses in a more flexible manner, including extending their studies, without having to fear disadvantages or additional costs. Students may, for example, shape their curriculum and deadlines in a more individual manner in agreement with the persons responsible for the respective degree programme.
