First edition of LUNEX 3MT competition
The first edition of our LUNEX 3MT competition took place in the auditorium.
The Three Minute Thesis (3MT®) is a research communication competition developed by The University of Queensland. Researchers have three minutes to present a compelling oration on their thesis and its significance. It is run every year is more than 200 universities around the world.
The competition supports our student’s capacity to effectively explain their research in three minutes, in a language appropriate to a non-specialist audience. At LUNEX University, we think developing your oral skills is a key part of becoming a good researcher. The 3MT is therefore a good opportunity for our students to work on their eloquence.
Thank you to all participants, and congratulations to our winner Sam Catani with the Judge’s Choice Award and a prize of 500 euros.
Jean-Michel Wolter and Paul Strainchamps tie for 2nd place and a prize of 150 euros each. Jean-Michel Wolter goes home with the People’s Choice award as well and a prize of 200 euros.
