Scientific Impact
The LUNEX Scientific impact is defined as a direct or indirect contribution of our research outputs towards informing, supporting, developing or positively changing Health and Sport knowledge, attitudes, skills and relationships in the research realm. In this context the term “Impact” can be considered a synonym of the term “Influence”.
The LUNEX Scientific Impact includes:
Development of new methods
Development of new data sets to be shared
Development of new scientific theories
Replication of “LUNEX studies” by other researchers
Societal Impact
The LUNEX Societal impact is defined as a direct or indirect contribution of our research outputs towards informing, supporting, developing or positively changing Health and Sport knowledge, attitudes, skills and relationships of partners, stakeholders and society. The LUNEX Societal Impact seeks to provide changes in the mentioned actors at an individual and group level influencing policies and practices.
The LUNEX Societal Impact includes:
Changes in public understanding towards e.g. risks or vulnerabilities, values and attitudes in the fields of Health and Sports
Development of new organisational practices
Imparting skills and capabilities in the actors informed through the research experience and expertise
Development of new policies or regulations
