Our Examination Office
The LUNEX Examination Office is responsible for organising and administering exams. Our team ensures the correct exam procedure and is your point of contact for any questions regarding exams.
- Crediting prior achievements
- Entering course grades
- Preparing and issuing/dispatching degree documentation
- Issuing references, certificates, diploma supplements and transcripts of records
- Certifying documents and references for use abroad
- Clarifying exam grades at students’ request
- Accepting medical certificates in case of illness
- Registering dissertations and monitoring dissertation deadlines
- Accepting dissertations and sending these to be marked
- Recording dissertation marks
- Calculating preliminary average grades and issuing evidence of preliminary average grades (for applications to a master programme)
- Appeal procedure in connection with exams
- Advice on exam regulations
- Advice in individual cases (maternity leave, deadline extension, etc.)

For students
The Examination Office is also responsible for the recognition and accreditation of prior learning i.e. study levels, qualifications or other achievements completed before applying to LUNEX that might credit you with the equivalent LUNEX study module. Decisions are made together with the respective Head of Department.
