A new strategic vision, built together – carrying LUNEX from its foundations to 2035.
Since our founding in 2015, LUNEX has grown into an internationally recognised hub for health, sport science and management education. As we look ahead, we're engaging our entire community – faculty, staff, students and partners – in a structured process to define what comes next. This page shares that journey: how we're working, what we're exploring, and where we're headed.
A strategy, built step by step
Rather than defining our next strategy behind closed doors, LUNEX chose to build it together.
Through a series of strategy workshops, we brought together four Strategic Working Groups, each focused on a critical area for LUNEX's future: Accreditation & Programme Portfolio, Continuous Professional Development, Research, and Teaching Innovation.
Each group conducted in-depth analysis of market demand, institutional strengths, available resources and future opportunity — and presented their findings to LUNEX leadership. Their proposals are now being refined further, with a clear focus on translating good ideas into concrete, testable action.

Growth and innovation rarely come from a single perfect plan. They come from people being willing to think differently, propose new approaches and explore possibilities.

An idea doesn't need to be perfect to deserve attention – it needs to be interesting enough to explore, and practical enough to test.
That's why our strategy process is built around a simple principle: promising initiatives are tested through small-scale pilots before becoming a permanent part of the institution. It's how we stay grounded in evidence, not assumption – and how good ideas earn their place in LUNEX's future.
This approach lets LUNEX learn what works before committing significant resources, gives clear ownership to the people driving each initiative, and keeps us agile in a fast-changing sector. Successful pilots become part of LUNEX's regular structures and operations – the foundation of our 2035 strategy.
Four areas shaping our future
Our new strategy is being built around four interconnected focus areas – each led by a dedicated working group and grounded in market analysis, institutional capability and, above all, student and societal benefit.
Turning plans into action
Over the coming months, each of our Strategic Working Groups will continue refining their proposals, identifying priorities and preparing initiatives for pilot implementation.
Preparation of programme accreditation submissions
