LUNEX awards Biomanufacturing Certificates for BioNTech in Rwanda

Part of the official agenda was also the certificate ceremony with LUNEX, which had designed and conducted special Biomanufacturing trainings for BioNTech’s employees over the past months. These trainings – called BioNTech Bootcamp – prepare new employees for their role in biomanufacturing. The trainings have exclusively been designed by LUNEX to match the needs of BioNTech and have been accredited with distinction by the international accreditation agency AQUIN in December 2023. “We are extremely proud to be part of this important step for vaccine independence of the African continent. And we are looking forward to supporting this project with more trainings in the coming years.” said Prof. Matthias Afting, Director of LUNEX.
