Overview

LUNEX emphasises practical and scientific knowledge in sports and health disciplines. This event will offer students and members of the public an opportunity to hear first hand from experiences of coaches from different countries.

The first session is a practical session giving an example of how sports training can extend beyond just the gym. Offering a Ukemi workshop complements this mission by providing students with hands-on skills directly applicable to their future careers. This initiative not only enriches the educational experience but also enhances the employability of graduates by equipping them with unique competencies in injury prevention and management. The LUNEX Ukemi workshop represents a proactive approach to education, preparing students to effectively promote safety and performance in their professional practices.

The second session is one of several events planned where students will be able to be part of a presentation and discussion with people working in sport. It is an opportunity to learn beyond just the theoretical world and give insight into practical experiences within different contexts.

You can find the full workshop agenda here.
