Marketing Specialist – fixed-term contract (6 months)

LUNEX is a young and ambitious private University of Applied Sciences (Établissement d’Enseignement Supérieur spécialisé) based in Luxembourg. We offer innovative study programmes in the fields of Health, Management and Sport, attracting students from across Europe and beyond. Our mission is to deliver high-quality teaching, learning and applied research in an international environment.

To strengthen our Marketing and Communication team, we are looking for a creative and hands-on Marketing Specialist who will play a key role in enhancing LUNEX’s digital presence and engagement across multiple platforms on a full-time, fixed-term basis (6 months).

Key Responsibilities

Social Media & Content Management

o Manage and animate all LUNEX social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok), adapting messaging and formats to different target audiences,
o Develop and execute social media strategies to increase visibility, engagement and traffic to the LUNEX website,
o Create and manage “LUNEX Stories” and multi-touch social media campaigns aligned with recruitment and branding objectives,
o Monitor, analyse and report on campaign performance, optimizing content and strategies based on results and insights,
o Stay up to date with social media trends, formats and best practices to propose innovative ideas.

Visual, Video & Audio Content Production

o Act as the owner of LUNEX visual and audiovisual content across social platforms,
o Increase production of video content, including student testimonials, programme promotion videos, event coverage and institutional content,
o Shoot, edit and adapt video materials for different channels and formats,
o Lead podcast ideation, recording and editing.

Merchandising & Brand Support

o Manage LUNEX merchandising (concept, coordination, follow-up),
o Ensure brand consistency across all digital content and promotional materials.

Additional Responsibilities as Part of the Marketing & Communication Team

• Implement email marketing campaigns, analyze performance and optimize results,

• Update and maintain website content,

• Create digital content for various supports (email campaigns, presentations, etc.),

• Support student recruitment activities such as Open Days, student fairs, school visits and internationalization initiatives,

• Coordinate and support the organization of the annual graduation ceremony.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in marketing, communication, digital media, multimedia, journalism or a related field (BAC+3 to BAC+5),

• Minimum 2 years of professional experience in social media management, digital marketing or content creation.

Technical & Creative Skills

• Proven experience managing social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok),

• Strong content creation skills, including copywriting and storytelling adapted to different audiences,

• Solid experience in video production and editing for social media (short-form and long-form content),

• Proficiency with relevant tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, video editing software, social media management and analytics tools,

• Experience with podcast recording and editing is a strong asset,

• Basic knowledge of website content management systems (CMS) and email marketing tools.

• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously,

• Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret performance data and optimize campaigns,

• Creativity, attention to detail and strong visual sensitivity,

• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team,

• Flexibility and hands-on attitude in a fast-paced environment.

Language Skills

• Excellent proficiency in English (spoken and written),

• Good knowledge of French,

• Knowledge of Luxembourgish or German is considered an advantage.

Application for a Bachelor’s programme:
1. Fill out our Online Application Form.
2. Take part in one of our Application Days. We will invite you to attend in person.
3. After successful participation in the Application Day we will email you with your study agreement. Please print it out, sign it and then send it to LUNEX by post or by e-mail, along with the evidence documents specified in the email.

Application for a Master’s programme:
1. Fill out our Online Application Form.
2. If you have met all the prerequisites for the Master’s programme, we will email you with your study agreement. Please read it carefully, print it out and sign it.
3. In order to complete your application, please send the signed study agreement along with all other required evidence documents by post to LUNEX.

As an applicant for one of our Bachelor’s programmes, you will be invited to attend an Application Day online. A selection procedure will take place on this day to check whether you meet the necessary prerequisites for the course.

More about the Application Day

The language of instruction in all courses at LUNEX is English. You should therefore be able to speak and understand English well. You have the opportunity to participate in the Pre-Bachelor Foundation Programme and improve your English if your language skills do not meet the entrance requirements for study at Bachelor level.

We will inform you in the course of the application process which supporting documents have to be provided and when. In principle, we need the following documents for your application:

  • Copy of your personal ID
  • Copy of the highest educational and/or vocational qualification
  • Language certificate (if applicable)

Depending on the degree programme (Bachelor/Master) and your country of origin (EU/non-EU), further documents may be required. More details will be provided to you in good time.

To secure a study place, we recommend that you send us your documents as soon as possible – but at the latest two weeks before the start of your studies. If you are an applicant from outside the EU, you should note that the application process for a visa can take four to 60 days. Please make sure you give yourself plenty of time.
