LUNEX Announces New Partnership with INAPS to Strengthen Collaboration in Sport and Physical Activity
02.09.2026
LUNEX is proud to announce a new partnership with INAPS, the national competence and resource centre for physical activity and sport in Luxembourg, marking an important step in strengthening collaboration between two institutions committed to the development of sport, physical activity and professional education in Luxembourg.
Through its role in education, professional development, research, and support to the sports sector, INAPS contributes to the development of the quality of sport and physical activity across Luxembourg. The partnership reflects a shared commitment between LUNEX and INAPS to advancing knowledge, supporting professionals, and contributing to a more active and healthy society.
The collaboration was formalised through a Memorandum of Understanding signed by Mihaela Bozonca, Director of Resources and Services at LUNEX, and Charles Stelmes, Director of INAPS.
Dr. Ana Isabel Aranda Pérez, Senior Lecturer at LUNEX, coordinated the partnership, while Dr. Sandra Heck, part of the Executive Leadership Team at INAPS, supported the collaboration on behalf of INAPS.
The signing of the Memorandum of Understanding marks an important milestone in a relationship that has been strengthened over several years. Prof. Dr. Rudi Balling, Academic Director at LUNEX, has played an important role in developing and strengthening the connection between LUNEX and INAPS over the years, helping to lay the foundations for this new collaboration.
The partnership provides a framework for both institutions to explore opportunities for knowledge exchange, professional development, research and collaborative initiatives within the fields of sport and physical activity. It will also support the development of closer links between academic education, research and professional practice in Luxembourg.
With several projects already in the pipeline, the partnership opens the door for a range of initiatives between LUNEX and INAPS. These upcoming projects will further strengthen collaboration between the two institutions and contribute to the continued development of knowledge and expertise in sport and physical activity in Luxembourg.
