Learning from Those Who've Done It: Alumni Return to Share Their Expertise

Our first-year Bachelor in Sport and Exercise Science students got hands-on in their Testing and Training module with LUNEX alumni Rahmane Lahmar and Dario Romao, who shared their expertise in performance, team training and rehabilitation.

Having walked the same path as current students, Rahmane and Dario were well placed to bring their professional experience into the classroom, offering practical insight that goes beyond the theory. Students had the opportunity to learn directly from professionals working in the field, gaining a clearer picture of how the concepts they study translate into real-world practice.

Sessions like this give students valuable exposure to the realities of working in sport science, while also showing them what's possible after graduation through the example of LUNEX alumni who have gone on to build careers in the field.
