5 Days in Denmark: An Erasmus+ Mobility in Aalborg

Our second-year Bachelor in Physiotherapy students, Silvia Martins and Clémentine Guidi-Eppe, took part in an Erasmus+ mobility in Aalborg, hosted by University College of Northern Denmark (UCN).

The week combined clinical observation days, giving students the chance to spot real-life differences and similarities between healthcare systems, with conferences and workshops organised in partnership with ENPHE. Alongside the academic programme, students also had the opportunity for inspiring exchanges with physiotherapy students from across Europe, sharing perspectives and experiences from their different countries and study programmes.

The theme of the week was Community-Centred Physiotherapy, bringing together research, practice, policy and innovation to rethink how care is delivered within communities.

Though brief, the experience left a lasting impact, giving students broader perspectives, new ideas and a stronger vision of patient-centred practice to bring back into their studies.
