Para-Athlete Massimo Saputo Visits LUNEX Physiotherapy Students
Our Bachelor of Physiotherapy students had the chance to meet with para-athlete Massimo Saputo, who visited LUNEX to share his personal experiences in rehabilitation. Massimo, who lost his forearm as a child, spoke openly about his journey, detailing how physiotherapy has supported his recovery and development, along with specific practices that have helped him reach his goals.
Representing Luxembourg with the Luxembourg Paralympic Committee, Massimo has competed internationally since 2019. This year, he participated in the Open Paris 2024, competing in the 100-meter and 400-meter sprints. His visit gave students firsthand insights into the role of physiotherapy in his athletic and personal journey, illustrating its essential role in empowering athletes with unique challenges to excel in their sport.
