Building Skills for Workplace Wellbeing: A CBT Training with Frank Haber
27.05.2026

Our students in the Bachelor in Corporate Health Management & Well-being recently took part in an immersive training on Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), led by CBT practitioner and psychologist Frank Haber.
As workplace well-being continues to grow in importance across organisations, understanding the psychological tools behind resilience and mental health has become an increasingly valuable skill. Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, one of the most widely used approaches in psychology, offered students a practical framework for understanding how thoughts, emotions and behaviours interact, and how this understanding can be applied to support well-being in a professional context.
Through practical exercises and case studies, students developed valuable skills to support resilience and positive work environments, gaining a deeper understanding of how CBT principles can be applied in a workplace setting. The session gave them the chance to work directly with a practising psychologist, connecting the theory behind mental health and well-being with the practical tools used to support it in real organisations.
Beyond the technical content, the training also gave students the opportunity to reflect on how these tools could be applied not only to support others, but also in managing their own well-being and resilience, a skill that will serve them well both personally and professionally.
Sessions like this reflect the applied nature of the programme, equipping students with the knowledge and skills to help build healthier, more resilient work environments in their future careers.
A big thank you to Frank Haber for sharing his expertise and energy with our students.
