Biggest indoor athletics event in Luxembourg, powered by LUNEX

For the fourth year in a row, LUNEX collaborated with the Luxembourg Athletics Federation to support the organisation of the CMCM World Athletics Indoor Tour Silver event, held last Sunday in Luxembourg.

As part of this partnership, students from our Master in Sport Management and Digitalisation programme were actively involved behind the scenes. From logistics and coordination to communications and operational support, they gained hands-on experience in planning and delivering an international athletics meeting.

In addition, students from other LUNEX programmes volunteered across various areas of the event, supporting on-site operations and athlete services. Their involvement further highlighted the collaborative spirit across the LUNEX community.

Together, these experiences provided students with valuable insight into the complexity of delivering a large-scale international sporting event, while allowing them to apply their academic learning in a real-world professional environment.
